Most Holy Trinity Catholic School's interscholastic sports program is governed by the Catholic Youth Athletic Association (CYAA). Our campus includes four acres of land which house a softball/baseball field, volleyball/basketball courts and a soccer/football field. Fall sports include: cross country, girls volleyball, boys flag football. Winter sports include: boys basketball and girls softball. Spring sports include: boys baseball and girls basketball. Not included in the CYAA, we have our cheer squad mentored by Sue Riccitelli open to grades 5 - 8.
Any students in grades five through eight who are planning on playing on any of our school CYAA League sports teams need to have a current, full physical on file. A permission slip must be signed and turned in with the sports fee before the student can practice with the team. All other forms must be turned in before the first game.
We are always in need of coaches and parent helpers. Please contact the school if you are able to contribute in any way.
"Our educational work should go this way to achieve harmony - harmony in all the boys and girls who have been entrusted to us; inner harmony, the harmony of their personality. It is by working in a hands-on way, imitating God, molding the lives of those kids like clay, that we achieve harmony and rescue them from the dissonances perennial darkness. Harmony, by contrast, is bright and clear; it is light. What we have to achieve is the harmony of a heart that grows and that we accompany in this educational journey."
~ Pope Francis (then, Cardinal Bergoglio – April 18, 2012)
